Now listen up kids, old Jef here will tell you all you need to know about the fabulous merc life. Being a merc is the best. You get to go to all kinds of exciting places do basically anything you want and you get to shoot all those nasty bastards that deserve it. And you can get rich while doing it! One good job can you set up for life.

What is not to love? You, your team out there fighting the good fight, well at least the well paying fight. Sure you might lose and arm or a leg but you can just put an implant in and everything is better than new. And the people you will meet, real badasses, folk who have seen things and can tell a story. If you make it long enough you can even become a legend, just like me.

I’m telling you being a merc is the adventure you have been looking for. Of course not everybody has what it takes and gets blown to pieces on their first gig. But would you rather go with a bang or live your life as a mindless drone sitting in a small room for the rest of your life?
