Welcome back Earthlings.

It has been some time. After the release I completely crashed (battery status 0.0%) for a few weeks. Since then I have been working on the new YouTube channel where I make various lore videos for DoC and also post videos of the ongoing campaign with Joe and Relic.

It is a lot of work and again something completely new I have to learn first. Still, it is very rewarding to see a finished video go live. On the downside I’m now also in servitude to our mighty lord and master the YouTube algorithm.

Thanks to feedback there are already a few changes planed for the next big update for the game. Nothing game changing but definitely small improvements here and there. Once I have became more used to making videos I intend to start writing lore again.

Here we are. LIVE!

It took so long to get here and yet, it is only just the beginning. I’m excited and confused at the same time. If you work for so many years towards a goal, reaching it feels unreal. But enough of my musings.

HELLO EARTHLINGS!

Welcome to Celtara, I hope you are going to have a great time here. Just browse around the website and see if you find something that tickles your fancy. Or if you have questions jump into the discord server (link in Social or at the end of the page).

The game has just gone public but you might wonder is it done? Is this the final version? NO, of course not. While it is feature complete and fully playable, I intend to work on it depending on my health and what funds I have available. There is so much more to tell and so much more work for me. Still, for the next weeks I will see what people have to say and decide then what needs to be done first.

About me? Why? Well…

I’m Paul a ~40 years old German engineer with a whole world stuck in my head. For nearly half of my life I have been working on DoC, mostly on the side and definitely not with the intention to make it public. But life is strange and fate leads you down paths you had never expected to see. And thus we find ourselves here in this moment, me publishing my own game world and you… well what are you going to do now? What is your move?
